if it eases any pains, Polar bears have existed as a 'species' for less then a million years. If the temperature went up so drastically that they lost too much ice, they'd just move back down south and re-adapt into Brown bears. But that future probably won't happen since we have more polars now then we've ever had (their population was always small)

Love the pic lol, I was told that some other planet (forgot which one) was going to turn into Earth and then Earth will turn into that planet in its first form and then everybody will move across the galaxy lol. But my unreliable source said that it would be billion of years in the future or whatever. Crazy eh?

I have a necklace with a polar bear on from Svalbard. If you go there, you will be able to see some polar bears. But it's sad, you know? That the ice is melting.

This remembers me of a documentary I watched so long ago about a polar bear that was lost in the ocean because of the ice melting before it was supposed to :tears:

Your work is very well done :) It seems to be a real picture at first sight  :+fav:

Very nicely done. Sad plight for our polar animals. ANd at this time, I'm hearing more about how it's a great thing that shipping can use the northwest passage now, and how we can drill for oil in arctic ocean now. The irony seems to escape some I guess. Fossil fuels = global warming = arctic ice melt = oil drilling = fossil fuels = global warming.

Congratulations on the contest!! It's such a sad plight that many animals face. Human's are so stupid!! Earth, it's plants and creatures can live without us, but we CANNOT live without them - yet we continue to distroy them.
